Project Details
This multi-phased endeavor transformed a historic 17-acre site in Macon, GA, through the creation of 6 distinct structures and comprehensive site enhancements. Our team skillfully erected a diverse range of new buildings, encompassing a 1,456 square-foot Skate Park Concession Stand, two 730 square-foot Restroom Buildings, a 2-story 2,160 square-foot Baseball Concession Stand, and two Picnic Pavilions. Each structure boasts a slab-on-grade foundation, painted split face CMU walls, wood trusses, and a shingle roofing system.
The project introduced a plethora of recreational marvels including an amphitheater, enhanced baseball and soccer fields complete with bleachers and scoreboards, a serene rose garden, and an outdoor classroom area. Notably, this locale houses the region’s sole skate park. Site enhancements were equally pivotal, elevating the park’s allure for Macon-Bibb County residents. These enhancements encompassed new landscaping, aesthetically pleasing decorative sidewalks adorned with custom wood bollards, dedicated RV parking and drop-off points, and pedestrian bridges.
With exceptional dedication, our team achieved project completion ahead of schedule, aligning seamlessly with the 2017 Cherry Blossom Festival, outpacing expectations by a full month.
